ruby-dataobjects software package provides Unified interface to various databases for Ruby, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-dataobjects
ruby-dataobjects is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-dataobjects package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-dataobjects *
You will get with ruby-dataobjects package name, version, architecture and description in a table
